2016 IP Scotland and North East (SNE) Step Up for Safety

Helping everyone to get home safe every day.

Action: This was carried out in  IP SNE  6 – 8 December 2016.

Why are we doing this?

Across IP SNE we will be delivering hundreds of projects within the region over the Christmas period.

‘Step Up for Safety’ is a chance for sites to stand down and focus on safe delivery of our projects. As part of this quarter’s ‘Step Up’, we have produced a series of short films which look at some specific injury/accidents which have occurred in our LNE Renewals portfolio; these are accidents that could have happened on any project across IP SNE, and share lessons that apply to all.

What do I need to do?

We are asking all those in our supply chain and our people managers to facilitate a 90-minute stand-down session between 6-8 December 2016 using the presentation and films that are being made available. This session is designed to be interactive, and you should familiarise yourself with the materials before hosting the session to ensure maximum engagement.

Following the session, the Feedback form should be sent to S&SDSNE@networkrail.co.uk
