The transition of Signalling Maintenance Testing Handbook Competences to Sentinel
11 NOVEMBER 2024 – 1 MARCH 2025
If you, or someone you know, is a signalling engineer/contractor your paper Authority to Work will no longer be accepted as proof of the following signalling competences from 1 March 2025:
- SMTH Core Skills
- SMTH Aspect Testing
- SMTH Points Testing
- SMTH Cable Function Testing
- SMTH Diversion of a Circuit
From 1 March 2025 the authority to work for these competencies will only be accepted using the sentinel system.
