Members of public
If you are a member of the public and you have a concern, question or complaint regarding network rail, including a safety threat you are aware of, please contact the network rail contact centre , who are resourced to deal with issues reported on a 24/7 basis and will be able to log your call and escalate it to the relevant department.
The contact centre can be reached by calling 03457 11 41 41 (calls are charged at standard rate) or by messaging Network Rail at contact us.
Examples of safety conditions that you may become aware of are:
- Animals, objects or people on or near the track
- Damage or fault at a level crossing
- A vehicle has hit a bridge
- A broken fence or open gate allowing access to the track
