We are continuously improving the way in which we manage respiratory risk. One way this is being achieved is by improving the education, understanding and awareness of occupational respiratory hazards, and steps that can be taken to mitigate the risks and enhance controls.
Network Rail has developed an e-learning, module code FF/OH’S/1-3, which is now available on E-business for Network Rail employees. The learning modules should be completed by employees who are exposed to respiratory hazards as part of their job and/or wish to become a face fit tester.
The e-learning package captures three modules
- Module 1 – Awareness of respiratory hazards
- Module 2 – Face fit requirements and fit check
- Module 3 – Face fit testing
