NR/L3/ELP/SAI25 working on about overhead line equipment (SAI) has been expanded to cover the Routes in North West & Central and Eastern Regions, for compliance by September 2025.
The standard introduces a change to the way we plan and deliver isolations, specifically an enhanced electrical risk assessment and clarification on the management of distribution interfaces. Where introduced, SAI25 replaces NR/L3/ELP/29987, also known as the Green Book.
If you carry out work in North West & Central and Eastern regions and hold one of the identified competencies below or carry out associated activities, you will need to review the detailed briefing(s) and update your Sentinel record, prior to the deployment area moving to SAI25.
If you do not work in one of these deployment areas, you do not need to review the detailed briefings at this time.
