Whether you work on the railway infrastructure, in our supply chain, or if you’re a member of the public who has a concern, question or complaint, including a safety issue you’re aware of, the quickest and easiest way to get in touch with Network Rail is through the contact centre. This team is resourced to deal with any issues reported on a 24/7 basis and will be able to log your call and escalate it to the relevant department.

Examples of safety conditions that you may become aware of are:

  • Animals, objects or people on or near the track
  • Damage or fault at a level crossing
  • A vehicle has hit a bridge
  • A broken fence or open gate allowing access to the track
