Previous iterations of our successful You vs Train anti-trespass campaign have focused on youth trespass as we know that teen boys are one of the groups most at risk. However, it’s estimated that young people are only responsible for about 25% of trespass incidents, which means adults account for the majority of trespass incidents.
The next burst of the campaign developed by Network Rail and supported by British Transport Police, on behalf of the rail industry will focus on adult trespassers (20-55) to challenge their misconception that their behaviour isn’t really dangerous.
Our campaign message draws on the emotion behind the consequence of trespassing and the impact this has on friends, family and the wider community.
