Distraction Kills is a new public safety campaign, that warns of the dangers of distractions when on and around Level Crossings. The campaign has been created following a spate of incidents at Level Crossings, which have sadly included several fatalities.
Distraction Kills focuses on two everyday scenarios, in which members of the public may encounter Level Crossings. These are when driving a car and when walking a dog. Brand-new hero videos have been created for each scenario, along with supporting print and digital assets.
The primary objective of the campaign is to remind all rail users of the potential dangers of distraction at Level Crossings and encourage them to take responsibility for their own personal safety.
Please use the videos, posters and digital assets that are available across your channels to promote the campaign. These are available for download here
Posters in a range of sizes are also available for use by our supply chain partners to use with the facility of adding your own logos around the image in order to show joint commitment to support the campaign. These are available here
Assets for use across social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook can be downloaded here
There is also a guide and further information on the campaign available in the campaign toolkit, which is available below:
We have 30 and 15 second version videos for each, with and without subtitles. We recommend using the 15 second versions for social media posts.
